As for the time it takes - well my process is a little long....still trying to reduce it but not really succeeding.
I think the Aayla picture came in between 30 and 40 hours. The reason being that I drew it on paper, scanned it, then pretty much re-inked it in photoshop, then coloured the character. I then replace all of the black outlines with a darker shade of each individual colour - which again takes a while. After all that I started to put the different background elements together...etc...etc.
As for Talon - maybe 20-30 hours as the background was a lot easier. The whole of this drawing was done digitally - so I didn't have to ink it twice!
I'm refining this style - I have used it on my "Supergirl 3", "Psylocke", "Aayla" and "Talon" so far - hopefully I will get better at it.

oh i think you are already quite good at this style, i dont have the time to do pinups because my art at the moment is going in another direction, its more about doing sculptures but painting is still a big passion of mine.
